In this role, you will assist Rehab Therapists as a second set of hands with patients (as needed) and maintain the therapy equipment and areas throughout the day. Monday 9:45-6:15 ; Wednesdays & Fridays 7:00-3:30; 2 weekend days per month( 7:45-4:15) & 1-2 holidays per year Overview St. Louis Children's Hospital is dedicated to improving the health and lives of children. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Provides routine, non skilled patient treatments as prescribed by the physician and directed by the licensed therapist or therapist assistant. Assists in maintaining inventory of supplies, forms and organizing the clinical environment for safe and effective patient care. Responsibilities Assists the therapist by performing non-skilled activities that are critical to a patient's treatment. Transports patients safely and in a timely fashion. Inputs rehab charges, prepares charts, charge sheets and other documentation required for treatment, and creates, complies, maintains and organizes patient handouts and other departmental reports.
