Position Overview:

As a Geo-technician, you will work on-site for one of our valued clients, playing a critical role in handling drill core and RC samples. This position requires precision, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety while performing tasks that support geological analysis. Key Responsibilities Support site management activities, including site clearing, preparation for drill work, and staking out groundwork activities Support an RC drilling program, including managing, organizing, and handling RC chip samples Properly sample core and maintain accurate records. Pick up core and RC cuttings from drill rigs. Provide regular email updates and data uploads to the project team using internal systems (e.g., Geospark or similar platforms) Follow all safety protocols and work without risk to self or others. Understand and apply verbal and written instructions in English. Complete and submit notes, reports, timesheets, and other documentation accurately and on time. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of relevant geology, geo-technician, or field support experience Core cutting and sampling experience preferred. Experience operating forklifts preferred. Strong IT and computer skills, including email communication, data uploads, and use of geological or project management databases Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs over uneven terrain. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience reading maps, using GPS, and driving off-road preferred. Background in geology or related sciences preferred but not required. Valid driver's license required. What We Offer Competitive pay (DOE) and per diem. PPE allowance.
