We're looking for a driven individual to join Dr. Mac's Medical Pain Management and Wellness Center as a Physical Rehabilitation Tech Intern. Healthcare or rehab experience is a plus, but not required — attitude and coachability matter most. If you prove yourself, we will consider you for a full-time position as your skills develop. The Program This is a one-year paid internship and training program that requires 20 hours per week in office and clinical work. The program is structured as follows: First 4 months: $300 per week Upon successful completion of the initial 4-month probation period, you will qualify for a raise based on performance up to $400 per week, for the remainder of the one-year internship. What You'll Learn Over the course of the program, you'll rotate through all aspects of a thriving integrated medical and rehabilitation practice: Clinical & Rehabilitation Operations Rehabilitation technician duties — assisting with therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient set-up Patient care coordination and monitoring progress Assisting with photobiomodulation (Red/Near Infrared LED Laser) and spinal decompression therapies Case management fundamentals Business & Practice Growth Supporting patient retention and relationship-building Health and wellness education for patients Supporting practice expansion and marketing efforts Office & Administrative Support Office administration and clinical systems Team support and coordination Computer proficiency and technology tools Time management and organizational skills What We're Looking For Genuine enthusiasm and a positive, high-energy attitude Willingness to learn and be coached Strong work ethic and reliability Interest in health, wellness, and physical rehabilitation Comfort with computers and technology Dependable transportation — must be able to commute reliably to Woodbridge, VA Ideally located in or near the Woodbridge area Healthcare or rehab experience is a plus, but not required — attitude and coachability matter most. If you prove yourself, we will consider you for a full-time position as your skills develop. Compensation $300.00 per week (first 4 months) | Up to $400.00 per week (upon successful completion of probation period)
