Job Description

Job Requirements Co Spgs, CO Top Secret/SCI Polygraph not specified Senior Level Career (10+ yrs experience) $150,000 - $160,000 Job Description Point Solutions Group (PSG), the engineering services arm of ClearanceJobs (DHI Group), is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared Nuclear Command, Control & Communications (NC3) / Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) Subject Matter Expert to support a U.S. Space Force headquarters program at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. This is a mission analysis and requirements role, not a console-operator position and not a traditional program analyst role. You will bring firsthand knowledge of how the United States detects, characterizes, and responds to strategic and missile threats, and you will apply that expertise to shape requirements, plans, and recommendations that keep NC3 and ITW/AA capabilities survivable and endurable in contested and degraded environments. What You'll Do Analyze NC3 and ITW/AA operations, plans, doctrine, tactics, and concepts of operation to identify mission impacts and develop recommendations for senior government leaders. Assess how proposed system modifications, upgrades, and acquisitions affect the operational mission across missile warning/tracking, survivability/endurability, satellite communications, and command-and-control capabilities. Define and characterize operational and mission needs for programs including ITW/AA, the U.S. Nuclear Detection System, CCIC2S, ICADS, and related mission command-and-control systems. Support strategic planning for ITW/AA and the nuclear enterprise, including preparation for forums such as the Nuclear Enterprise Review, Nuclear Issue Resolution and Integration, Nuclear Oversight Board, and Capabilities Programming Guidance. Review plans, budgets, and schedules to identify operational risks and mission impacts of funding and program decisions; develop recommendations and courses of action. Develop and maintain operational program documentation — requirements documents, mission directives, CONOPS, organizational charters, manpower assessments, test plans, and Weapon System fielding/Operational Acceptance documentation. Coordinate across government and program stakeholders and support senior-level meetings and decision forums. Lead and support recurring Survivable and Endurable (S/E) readiness engagements and working groups with CFC warfighting units — verifying system baseline data, tracking action items, and briefing readiness status to unit leadership. Support Inspector General inspections and other formal readiness assessments of

systems, and help units close identified gaps. What You Bring This role is built for a former operator or mission expert who has transitioned into requirements, plans, or program analysis (not a program analyst who is new to the mission). Required Active Top Secret/SCI clearance. 10+ years of NC3-related experience relevant to the responsibilities above — e.g., USSTRATCOM, NORAD/USNORTHCOM, ITW/AA operations, or nuclear force management — including experience with NC3 weapon systems/platforms such as ITW/AA, missile warning/tracking, survivability and endurability, satellite communications, the U.S. Nuclear Detection System, or command-and-control systems. BA/BS degree (5+ years of additional relevant experience may substitute). Headquarters experience with nuclear matters at U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, a Combatant Command, CFC, Space Systems Command, or an equivalent organization. Experience providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis, and recommendations to senior government leadership. Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo, collaborative environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience working professionally with military senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers. Ability to work 100% on-site at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. Preferred Experience with capability development processes such as the former Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS). Experience in nuclear acquisitions, operations, or research/laboratory/science and technology. DAF/military acquisition experience (e.g., Space Systems Command, AFMC, AFIMSC). DAF/military resource management experience — POM/UFR development, funding-plan processes, and engagement with resourcing agencies (e.g., S8, CSRO, SAF/SQ, CAPE). Experience supporting nuclear enterprise governance forums (Nuclear Enterprise Review, Nuclear Oversight Board, Capabilities Programming Guidance, or similar). Familiarity with PPBE (Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution) processes as they relate to ITW/AA or NC3 programs. Master's degree.
