Demonstres intermedie level of substantive understanding in the areas of technical and scientific expertise with goal of being able to interact effectively with peer Intelligence Community (IC) analysts and industry experts. 2. Makes informed decisions about work priorities to ensure accure completion of assignments and projects, and makes adjustments as required. 3. Demonstres knowledge of the basic functions of the hardware, software, and other tools relevant to area of responsibility. 4. Maintains flexibility in involving others when completing a task. 5. With guidance, seeks opportunities to collabore or help solve a problem outside of his/her immedie team.HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1.
Experience conducting laborory analysis of metal alloys, ceramics, or composites using techniques such as scanning electron microscopy with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, spark optical emission spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, mechanical testing (e.g. tensile, hardness, or impact testing), and thermal or mechanical analysis techniques (e.g. differential scanning calorimetry, dynamic mechanical analysis, or thermomechanical analysis). 2. Experience in metallographic sample preparion, including cutting, sectioning, mounting, machining/polishing, etching, and coing for microstructural examinion across metals, ceramics, and composites. Demonstred proficiency in preparing samples for grain structure analysis, grain size determinion, phase composition characterizion, and mechanical evaluion. 3. Exhibits adaptability in applying tailored analytical techniques to unconventional, field-collected, or compromised specimens while maintaining rigorous documention, traceability, and reporting standards to ensure reliable analysis and effective communicion of findings.Basic Requirements:
1.Degree:
physical science, engineering, or mhemics th included 24 semester hours in physical science and/or reled engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of merials, and electronics. or 2. Combinion of educion and experience- educion equivalent to one of the majors shown in A above th included least 24 semester hours in physical science and/or reled engineering science, plus approprie experience or additional educion.
