Basic Qualifications:
Success in this role will come mainly from experience, however a traditional education in Engineering and/or Chemistry/Physics is expected Knowledgeable about engineering and chemistry/physics principles and uses both interchangeably to solve problems and look for possibilities Demonstrated experience writing technical reports in the form of technical story-telling and communicating to technical and non-technical partners alike Have fundamental understanding of lab operations including physical/chemical characterization with various instrumentation Must be mechanically/electrically inclined to enable hyphenation of unusual instrument sequences and/or creation of new instrumentation Must thrive in evolving environments and be willing to help build out visualization capabilities and systems Must work as a team member and want to listen and learn Expected to be comfortable as a practicing Scientist where majority of time is spent in the laboratory designing / executing experimentsPreferred Qualifications:
Passion for photography/videography and related software (Adobe Creative Cloud) Familiarity with 3D design software, SolidWorks preferred Experience with coding in Python or other scripting languagesLocation:
