Job Description

Physicist-Medical Are you passionate about patient care and ready to make a difference in the lives of those battling cancer? Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is looking for a Medical Physicist. In this role, you'll partner with physicians, clinicians, and technical staff to ensure the highest standards in radiation therapy, imaging, and patient safety.
What You'll Do:
As a key clinical expert, you will: Ensure the safe and accurate delivery of radiation therapy treatments Perform equipment calibration, quality assurance (QA), and compliance checks Collaborate with oncologists and care teams to develop and optimize treatment plans Lead efforts in radiation safety and regulatory compliance Monitor and evaluate new technologies to enhance patient outcomes Provide training and guidance to medical and technical staff
What We Required Qualifications:
Master's or Ph.D. in Medical Physics, Physics, or related field Board certification or board-eligible (e.g., ABR or equivalent) Strong knowledge of radiation therapy, dosimetry, and QA processes Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
Experience with advanced treatment techniques (IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, etc.) Familiarity with leading treatment planning systems and imaging technologies Passion for innovation and improving patient care Why Join Us?
