Job Description

We're seeking a senior medical physicist to join a highly skilled team in beautiful Palm Springs, CA. This is an opportunity to work alongside 3 Radiation Oncologists, 2 physicists and 2 dosimetrists in a practice committed to delivering advanced high-quality patient care. The facility is equipped with the following:

Qualifications Advanced degree in Medical Physics or related field; board certification or eligibility by recognized bodies such as ABR (American Board of Radiology) is preferred. Extensive experience with CT imaging, CT simulation for radiation therapy planning, and medical software systems. Proven expertise in radiation physics principles, anatomy knowledge, and physiology relevant to diagnostic imaging and treatment delivery. Hands-on experience with external beam radiation therapy techniques including IMRT and 3D conformal radiotherapy. Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures, dose calculations, and shielding design. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems used in healthcare settings. Critical care experience or background in acute care environments is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to multidisciplinary teams.
