This position requires demonstrated experience designing radiation shielding for megavoltage particle accelerators using NCRP 144 and NBS Handbook 97 and evaluating the effectiveness of radiation shielding using thermoluminescent dosimeters (TLDs), ionization chambers, and neutron detectors.
