Description:
Advocate Radiation Oncology's mission is to provide compassionate health care expertise to cancer patients. Advocate Radiation Oncology is expanding and this position is for a Clinical Medical Physicist to join our group of knowledgeable Physicists in the beautiful Southwest Florida area. Advocate Radiation Oncology is a group of Radiation Therapy offices located in Southeast & Southwest Florida. This is a unique and very exciting opportunity for a clinical Medical Physicist to join a team of experienced staff working at a state of the art facility, using new technology, in a collaborative work environment. The Advocate Radiation Oncology offices in this region are equipped with Varian TrueBeam, Edge, and Halcyon linear accelerators, Varian Bravos HDR, and excellent Physics equipment including: Sun Nuclear 1D scanning tank, IC Profiler, & DoseLab. All of the offices have Varian machines (TrueBeam, Edge, Halcyon, Bravos HDR), ARIA Record & Verify System, and Eclipse Treatment Planning System. Advocate Radiation Oncology is committed to utilizing new technology, including use of 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRT, SGRT, and HDR treatments. This is a clinical position and the ideal candidate will be very involved in the clinical duties of the office. It is very important that the candidate be a team player and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
Minimum qualifications include: - Master's Degree in Medical Physics - Certification by the American Board of Radiology or American Board of Medical Physicists Compensation includes a highly competitive salary, health benefits, vacation time, meeting attendance, & association dues. PI6eba-8567
