Pay Range:

$4500/ week

•$5000/Week We are seeking an experienced Medical Physicist for a 13-week travel assignment supporting a Radiation Oncology department. The Medical Physicist will be responsible for providing clinical physics support and ensuring the safe, accurate, and effective delivery of radiation therapy services. The ideal candidate will have recent Radiation Oncology experience, strong knowledge of radiation therapy physics, and experience working with Varian treatment systems. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical medical physics support within a Radiation Oncology environment. Perform and support radiation therapy quality assurance and safety activities. Assist with treatment planning, treatment verification, and dosimetric evaluations as required. Ensure radiation therapy equipment and treatment processes meet applicable safety and quality standards. Work collaboratively with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, and other clinical staff. Support commissioning, calibration, and quality control activities as applicable. Review and evaluate treatment plans and clinical physics data. Maintain accurate documentation related to quality assurance, equipment performance, and patient treatment. Follow established radiation safety procedures and regulatory requirements. Provide technical and clinical support related to radiation therapy equipment and treatment delivery. Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Physics experience within Radiation Oncology. Master's degree in Medical Physics or a related field. Must be ABR certified or ABR eligible. Current AHA BLS certification. Recent experience with Varian radiation therapy equipment. Strong knowledge of radiation therapy physics, quality assurance, and radiation safety. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
