- Medical Physicist (Radiation Oncology)
Boise, Idaho Start:
ASAP | Full-Time ☢ Day Shift 365 Healthcare is seeking 1 Medical Physicist specializing in Radiation Oncology for a full-time, permanent position in Boise, Idaho . This role supports a comprehensive radiation oncology program and focuses on ensuring the safety, accuracy, and quality of radiation therapy services across affiliated oncology sites. This opportunity is a permanent placement offering a stable schedule, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one. Schedule Full-time Day shift No weekend requirements No on-call responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities Ensure accuracy of radiation measurements across all radiation oncology programs Perform periodic checks and maintain required physics documentation and records Participate in chart reviews and departmental meetings to ensure procedural accuracy Oversee brachytherapy procedures for safety, accuracy, and compliance Commission and calibrate radiation therapy equipment Support administrative and regulatory functions, including: NRC documentation Radiation Safety Committee participation Review of departmental policies and procedures Practice Highlights & Benefits Market-competitive compensation Generous paid time off Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits beginning day one Retirement planning with employer matching College savings plans and multiple life insurance options Employee Assistance Program Tuition reimbursement and continuing education opportunities Strong emphasis on work-life balance with access to Idaho's outdoor lifestyle Qualifications Master's degree in Medical Physics Current certification by the American Board of Radiology Successful completion of ABR Parts I and II with full certification within three years of hire Minimum of one year of experience as a medical physicist in a cancer treatment setting Experience in a Varian treatment environment (highly preferred) Preferred experience with: External beam treatment planning (SRS, SBRT, IMRT, 3DCRT) Brachytherapy treatment planning Sun Nuclear quality assurance devices 4D CT, gated radiation therapy, and Vision
