  • 5.0 Flint, MI Job Details Contract 20 hours ago Qualifications Medical License Full Job Description Credentialing for the position is expected to commence immediately upon provider approval, typically taking around 30 days for NRC/State RAM licensing.
  • Setting
  • : Outpatient context, encompassing multiple facilities.
  • Operational Schedule
  • : Hourly engagement on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Patient Demographics
  • : Diverse patient population primarily consisting of outpatients, with occasional inpatient cases referred from the hospital for simulation and treatment to manage symptoms.
  • Patient Volume
  • : The average patient load is approximately 60-70 across three locations daily.
  • Core Responsibilities
  • : Responsibilities include chart evaluations (initial and weekly), machine quality assurance (QA), high-dose rate (HDR) treatment planning and administration, as well as supervision of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) treatments.
  • Documentation
  • : Utilization of Aria as the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Provider Requirement
  • : Local providers only; reimbursement is strictly for mileage incurred.
  • Mandatory Qualifications
  • : •Board Certification•: Must be board certified by either the ABR or ABMP (mandatory).
  • Local Residency
  • : Only local providers will be considered; reimbursement limited to mileage (mandatory) .
  • Licensure
  • : An active Michigan medical license is required (mandatory).
  • Experience
  • : Minimum of three years of relevant experience is required, with five years preferred (mandatory).
  • Background Check
  • : Providers must have a clean record with no malpractice claims or licensing issues (mandatory).
