Job Description

Overview LMI is seeking a Physicist/Radiation Safety Specialist to support our DHS client. This is a part-time, on-site position in the New York City area. You must be a U.S. citizen. Responsibilities Lead conformance testing for personal radiation detection devices Develop and refine standard operating procedures for testing radiation detection devices Potentially perform radiation safety officer (RSO) duties, as necessary Qualifications Masters degree or higher in an applicable discipline Understanding of conformance testing and calibration of radiation detection equipment Strong team player with customer-focused attitude Ability to pass a DHS background investigation Target salary range: $120,000 - $200,000
