Buro Happold's Analytics service is a unique data driven and people centered capability that empowers clients to optimize the design and operations of their facilities. We combine the power of interactive data analytics, predictive modeling and real-time optioneering to maximize outcomes such as space utilization, operational efficiency and visitor experience. Your key duties As a key part of the team, your responsibilities will be varied, but likely to include: Influence the design of complex high-profile projects Use computational design tools to solve complex inter-connected design problems Assist the design team in achieving our client's aspirations Assist with developing new tools to optimize our work Undertake various environmental modeling analyses, including thermal comfort and daylightingYour skills and experience Bachelor or Master's degree in Architecture or designKnowledge on building physics and passive designCoursework in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)Experience in programming languages such as PythonExperience using Rhino and GrasshopperExperience using Ansys, STAR-CCM+, OpenFoam beneficialInterest in analytics and designInternship experience at an engineering related firm preferred, and proven interest in the built environmentAbility to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible mannerEagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary teamCandidates are encouraged to apply even if they don't meet all requirementsWhat we offerSalary range of $80,000 to $83,000.
