We are a John Deere dealer with 35 locations serving a diverse group of agricultural, commercial, and residential customers in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
\r\n\r\n- Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs\r\n\r\n
- Supplies Service Technicians with parts, as required (assists Service Writer, if applicable)\r\n\r\n
- Assists with preparing and maintaining showroom merchandise displays\r\n\r\n
- Verifies receipting in of parts shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders \r\n\r\n
- Assists in pulling and shipping parts and product transfers between branches\r\n\r\n
- Assists in keeping parts department, showroom and parts warehouse clean and orderly\r\n\r\n
- Reports and follows up on parts shortages by reporting issues to the Parts Manager\r\n\r\n
- Assists in maintaining all departmental tools and equipment\r\n\r\n
- Provides afterhours parts phone service, when necessary\r\n\r\n
- Other duties as required, for overall location functionality\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nEXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
\r\n\r\n- High School Diploma or equivalent experience\r\n\r\n
- Basic data entry/keyboarding skills\r\n\r\n
- Basic parts and machinery knowledge\r\n\r\n
- Ability to use the John Deere Parts related computer application\r\n\r\n
- Ability to work in a team environment\r\n\r\n
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends\r\n\r\n
- Ability to operate a forklift, preferred\r\n\r\n
- Valid driver's license required for potential driving situations, preferred\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n
