Job Description
Leads engineering projects for new product development, manufacturing, and catheter-based or implantable medical device systems from requirements through execution. Job Requirements Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related science field. 3+ years of experience in a new product development or manufacturing environment. Experience managing engineering projects, schedules, budgets, staffing, and technical deliverables. Experience defining and documenting customer and project requirements. Experience developing product and engineering specifications. Proficiency with CAD and engineering software. Experience with Microsoft Office applications, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software. Preferred Skills Project Management certification. Experience with Creo. Experience with AutoCAD. Experience developing implantable medical devices. Experience developing catheter-based systems. Experience supporting medical device manufacturing or product development. Experience with design and process optimization. Job Responsibilities Review project proposals and plans to determine schedules, funding limitations, staffing requirements, and resource needs. Develop project work plans and allocate resources across project phases. Define project responsibilities, deliverables, and technical scope. Coordinate engineering and project activities to maintain schedule and budget requirements. Review project status reports and adjust schedules or plans as required. Provide technical direction and support resolution of engineering issues. Prepare project reports and technical documentation. Conduct customer meetings and manage project communications. Maintain technical knowledge of applicable manufacturing processes and equipment. Document customer requirements and translate them into engineering specifications. Define and maintain product requirements, engineering specifications, and project deliverables. Develop and optimize designs or manufacturing processes for implantable and catheter-based systems. Coordinate project personnel and technical activities throughout new product development and manufacturing execution.
