Description A global consumer products organization with a strong presence in personal care and skin health is seeking an experienced R D Project Manager to support scientific claims development and substantiation efforts. This role partners closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure consumer‑facing communications are supported by appropriate clinical and technical evidence across multiple international markets. This position offers the opportunity to work on internationally distributed products while contributing to responsible, evidence‑based communication strategies. Key Responsibilities Assess proposed product claims and marketing communications from a scientific risk perspective Develop substantiation strategies aligned with product performance, available testing, and regional regulatory expectations Provide alternative claims language or communication approaches when proposed claims fall outside acceptable risk thresholds Design and manage claims‑related study and data plans to support new product launches and formula updates Ensure clinical and technical studies are executed to recognized industry and regulatory standards Review and align study outcomes with intended product claims and positioning Prepare and maintain substantiation documentation to support internal use, external review, and potential claim challenges Support pre‑market and pre‑advertising submissions related to claims requirements across global regions Additional Skills & Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor's degree in physiology, biochemistry, chemistry, cosmetic science, or a related life‑science field 5+ years of experience in personal care, OTC products, clinical testing, or contract research environments Strong understanding of claims substantiation and risk assessment within the U.S. and international markets (EU and other regions preferred) Ability to translate complex scientific data into clear, audience‑specific guidance Experience evaluating study design and data in relation to product claims Awareness of regulatory bodies, consumer expectations, and potential legal considerations in claims development Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Cincinnati, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
