Full Job Description Career Details:
We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Research & Development Director to provide strategic clinical leadership and serve as the primary psychologist for designated clients. This role is ideal for a mission-driven professional who is energized by both direct clinical engagement and the opportunity to lead, develop, and elevate clinical services across an organization. As the Research & Development Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping evidence-based clinical practices, ensuring the highest standards of care, and fostering the professional growth of clinical teams. You will oversee a broad range of clinical services—including substance use treatment, cognitive and behavioral management, and counseling services—while also guiding clinical training, staff supervision, and service innovation.
Required Education:
License to practice In State of Ohio pursuant to Section 4732.09 and 4732.21 of the revised Code, certificate in specialized field (e.g., ICDC) by State of Ohio Chemical dependency Professional Board commensurate with position area/scope of responsibility (e.g. Clinical dependency), counseling, psychology.
Required Experience:
Twelve (12) years ' experience as a licensed psychologist Twelve (12) months experience providing work direction &training or supervision to psychology, social work students
Preferred Experience:
3 to 5 years' experience in clinical management and
Licensed Psychology Required License, Certification, Association:
License to practice psychology in the State of Ohio
