Assistant Statistician Job Description The assistant statistician is responsible for monitoring and managing a group of survey systems. On the surveys they coordinate, they manage all stages of the process, from data collection to its availability, ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality requirements. In this role, their main duties are: Preparing the launch of data collection campaigns (updating official notes, improving notices, preparing communications); Taking into account the evolution of questionnaires and internal tools for data entry and survey monitoring (updating specifications and functional acceptance testing); Monitoring the collection, ensuring compliance with deadlines and data quality; Support in managing requests from respondents; Valuing the data made available by writing collection summaries and first key indicators; Updating documentation for data users; Supporting data users. To carry out their duties, the assistant statistician will rely on one or more survey managers, whom they will functionally supervise. They will also work closely with other team and service members. In addition to their routine duties, the assistant statistician contributes to investment work: Participation in internal workshops to harmonize team processes; Contribution to the implementation of new surveys; Participation in working groups with surveyed structures to improve the quality of collected data.
Required Profile Knowledge:
Work in a team and coordinate multiple stakeholders Fundamental knowledge of civil and criminal law and procedures (to be acquired according to profile) Be a force of proposal and adapt to change Fundamental data analysis and survey management (to be acquired according to profile) Report on their activities Office tools Word and Excel (required proficiency) Skills Language R (to be acquired according to profile) Update functional specifications and perform functional acceptance testing Sphinx (to be acquired according to profile) Write documentation
