Job Title:

Research AssistantJob Description The Research Assistant will perform daily clinic tasks to assist coordinators with study procedures, which may include administering Electronic Self-Assessment Questionnaires, managing the check-in process, facilitating informed consent signing, and providing assistance with instrumentation and photography. Additionally, the role involves performing administrative tasks to support study preparation and conduct, such as preparing test materials, making appointment reminders, and quality checking study documents. The Research Assistant may also aid in developing study paperwork and is expected to report to the clinic on time for all assigned studies. Responsibilities

+ Assist coordinators with study procedures, including Electronic Self-Assessment Questionnaire administrations and informed consent processes.

+ Perform administrative tasks such as preparing test materials, making appointment reminders, and quality checking study documents.

+ Assist in the development of study paperwork for coordinators.

+ Report to the clinic on time for all studies assigned.

+ Perform tasks in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, applicable regulations, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.

+ Provide excellent customer service to clients and panelists while maintaining positive and respectful interactions with peers and leadership.

+ Comply with safety and Operational Integrity procedures and processes. Essential Skills

+ Customer service oriented with experience in medical and clinical research settings.

+ Previous laboratory experience to facilitate training on equipment use.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.

+ Ability to follow instructions and study protocols in accordance with GCP guidelines and applicable regulations. Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field such as Microbiology, Health Studies, Biology, or Chemistry.

+ Interest in cosmetics.

+ Previous experience in customer or patient-facing roles within healthcare or research settings. Work Environment The role operates within a professional office environment specializing in cosmetics research. The current schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Once sequester studies commence in late September or October, some studies will require 8-hour shifts, while others will require 12-hour shifts. For 12-hour study days, the following day will be a shorter workday. Sequester study days may start at 6 or 7am. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
