Job Description

Russell Tobin is hiring a Research Associate II for an established a top biotechnology organization company in Tucson, AZ 85755. . Research Associate II - Pilot Plant Tucson, AZ 85755
Duration:
12+ Months Pay rate: $27—30/Hr. ( Depending on experience)
Note:
This is a 100% laboratory-based role. Candidates must have prior, recent lab experience; recent graduates without hands-on experience will not be considered. Strong experience with wet-lab techniques is preferred. Formulation, Reagent preparation, Media preparation and Other hands-on wet-lab techniques pilot-scale fermentation, manufacturing readiness, production support, and process scale-up, manufacturing processes A Master's degree may be considered overqualified for this position. SAP experience is not required. Top Skills Hands-on wet-lab experience Self-directed and able to work independently Strong troubleshooting skills Responsibilities Perform QC analytical testing. Support formulation activities. Conduct testing on behalf of other team members. Analyze and interpret test results and data.
Position Summary:
This is an onsite position for an experienced Research Associate II - Pilot Plant with 2-4 years of post-college experience. Join our team to drive precision in our laboratory operations. In this role, you will perform hands-on reagent formulation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and purity through rigorous analysis. You will be responsible for interpreting experimental data, maintaining strict compliance with safety protocols, and documenting your findings to support our production lifecycle. Beyond core lab duties, you will play a key role in our Research Use Only (RUO) operations, supporting the formulation, filling, and packaging of reagent products destined for commercial distribution.
Who You Are Experienced:
You bring 2-4 years of hands-on laboratory experience.
Analytical:
You possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
A Clear Communicator:
You excel at relaying technical information effectively.
Detail-Oriented:
You have a solid grasp of industry best practices and compliance standards.
Bonus Points Lab Expertise:
Prior experience working in a clinical or fast-paced laboratory setting.
Formulation Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with reagent formulation processes.
Systems Knowledge:
Proficiency using SAP for inventory or production management.
