Dept. : R&D -
Formulation & Development Qualification:
Bachelor of Science or a related degree, with a minimum of 2-3 years of prior R&D experience.
Responsibilities:
Assist in developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting new and existing product formulations. Prepare laboratory-scale batches for formulation trials and preliminary evaluations. Conduct experiments to assess product characteristics, aesthetics, and perform short-term in-house stability and compatibility tests. Assist in preparing and maintaining the R&D stability program, including preparation of stability batches and documentation. Submit stability samples to internal or external laboratories and track ongoing studies. Gather user feedback on lab trial batches and make modifications based on feedback and guidance from the formulation lead. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lab trials, experimental procedures, observations, and results for traceability and future referenceStay informed of new ingredients, trends, and formulation technologies to support innovation and learning. Support preparation of clinical trial batches and samples, including documentation and shipment coordination. Source raw materials, ingredients, and lab equipment as needed for formulation trials. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment and ensure inventory of lab materials and supplies is properly managed. Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols, chemical handling procedures, and general cleanliness standards. Collaborate with QA, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams as needed for cross- functional support and project alignment. Participate in or support pilot batch production and scale-up activities in coordination with the lead formulator or supervisor. Assist in preparing samples and documentation for internal review, marketing, or external regulatory submissions as needed.
