The student will contribute to research efforts by ensuring data are accurately collected, organized, and documented. Responsibilities Student seeking this position will commit a certain number of hours per week towards successfully digitizing the school fields in GIS. Digitize school fields using GIS software. Organize and maintain research data files. Collaborate with project team members to support data analysis efforts. Ensure accuracy and consistency of digitized data. Participate in meetings and provide project updates as needed. Document workflows and maintain project records. Required Qualifications GIS proficiency. Ability to commit assigned hours each week to project work. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with data. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software applications. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and follow project instructions. Desired Qualifications Training provided. Interest in research, geography, GIS, spatial analysis, or data science. Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software. Experience working with datasets and maintaining organized records. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty and research team members.
