Job Summary The applicant will be recruiting and screening research participants, including healthy individuals as well as those diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder and with agenesis of the corpus callosum (two clinical populations that we study). They will also be doing interviews, questionnaires, and psychological tests; and collect eye tracking data in the lab. They will conduct visualizations and analyses of the data at a level sufficient to justify co-authorship on research publications. They will work in a collaborative environment supervised by Dr. Ralph Adolphs and occasionally other members of his lab. Essential Job Duties Keep up-to-date and well-organized databases and spreadsheets that track research participants and the studies in which they have participated. Screen participants on the phone, interview them and give them task instructions in person. Physically meet participants and bring them into the lab for testing. Conduct eyetracking experiments, including calibrating the eyetracker and collecting data. Carry out visualizations, quality-checks, and analyses of data. Weekly meetings with supervisors and other lab collaborators. Data organization and visualization. Basic Qualifications Bachelors Degree. Must have experience with human-subjects research, ideally including clinical populations. Must have excellent organizational skills. Must have excellent social skills in interacting with people. Must be able to do basic data tracking, analysis, and visualization in software such as Microsoft excel. Preferred Qualifications Prior research with autism. Prior experience with eyetracking and analysis of eyetracking data. Prior experience with data analysis and visualization, including statistical analysis. Experience in coding, including the use of AI. Required Documents Resume.
