It offers affordability relative to coastal California, a booming farm to fork dining scene, diverse neighborhoods, and expanding job opportunities in government, healthcare, and tech. The city features tree lined streets, a reimagined riverfront, walkable Midtown, and access to lakes, rivers, and mountains. Davis is a vibrant college town, home to UC Davis and known for its bike friendly culture, sustainability, and strong sense of community. It blends small town charm with academic energy, making it ideal for students, professionals, and families who value education, environmental consciousness, and a walkable/bikeable lifestyle. Woodland offers a quieter, more affordable alternative to nearby Davis and Sacramento, with a dense suburban feel, deep agricultural roots, and a revitalizing historic downtown.
