Job Description

South San Francisco, California job type: Contract salary: $40.00 - 48.53 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Develop, optimize, and execute assays for protein, DNA, and AAV nanoparticles following SOPs and regulatory guidelines.Perform routine analytical testing using PCR (ddPCR, qPCR), ELISA, and cell-based assays.
Maintain mammalian cell lines using sterile techniques, including expansion, characterization, differentiation, and banking.
Support assay transfers to QC, testing groups, and research teams.
Analyze experimental data, draw key conclusions, and maintain accurate ELN records and technical reports.
Present experimental findings clearly in cross-functional team meetings.
qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor of Science with 3+ years of biotech or pharmaceutical experience performing biologic assays.Proven expertise in PCR, ELISA, and cell-based assays with hands-on sterile technique skills.
Proficiency in routine molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis, Western Blot, RT-PCR).Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with proficiency in MS Office.
Preferred:
