Description A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in southern Connecticut that provides a wide range of services, including primary, oral, and behavioral health care, along with case management and community programs, is adding a Family Medicine Physician. We are a regional community health center covering over 30 towns in eastern Connecticut.
About the opportunity:
Total outpatient Option for a four-day work week 1:1 Medical Assistant/Physician 1:2 RN/Physician ratios RNs perform education visits, triage, and in-box refill support Clinical faculty appointment and medical student teaching opportunities Minimal on-call with stipend In addition to our main facilities, we offer mobile programs and School-Based Health Centers.
Compensation/Benefits:
Robust salary commensurate with experience An additional $5,000 bilingual stipend for verified Spanish fluency Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage 403(b) retirement savings plan with employer contributions 5 weeks PTO plus 9 paid holidays Four CME days annually with $1,500 in CME funds and $1,000 in professional development funds Malpractice coverage provided Loan repayment eligibility through HRSA Relocation assistance for applicable candidates

Located in southeast Connecticut, 40 miles from Hartford and 2.5 hours from New York City A city of 40,000 people in New London County, Connecticut The Yantic, Shetucket, and Quinebaug Rivers flow into the city and form its harbor, from which the Thames River flows south to Long Island Sound Explore historical sites like the Leffingwell House Museum and the Norwichtown Historic Cemetery, enjoy the outdoors at Mohegan Park and Yantic Falls, or take a guided walking tour to learn about its history.
