Job Description
developing new products and improving existing products within established guidelines researching consumer trends and incorporating into new product ideas providing input for production recipes and process guidelines inputting and revising recipes in SAP utilizing databases to input or revise product information creating and maintaining quality assurance specifications for products troubleshooting product as it relates to recipes conducting experiments on ingredients and products verifying ingredient specifications (yields, quality characteristics, labeling, etc.) performing comparison tests against product competitors maintaining R&D lab, storage areas and ensuring that equipment is clean and organized providing assistance to production areas to improve processes conducting new product cuttings and samplings presenting to associates in different levels of the company including hourly associates and upper management and assisting in other duties as assigned.
