Lead Research Analyst The University of Health/UHealth department of SCCC has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Lead Research Analyst to work at the UHealth Medical Campus. The Lead Research Analyst works collaboratively and independently to analyze, interpret and present data from applicable databases. Analyzes data from multiple datasets using advanced statistical methods. Develops, maintains and monitors the organization of individual level data and documentation. Prepares results for progress reports, presentations and peer-reviewed publications. Serves as co-author on peer-reviewed manuscripts. Presents results of statistical analyses to study investigators. Collaborates with other relevant stakeholders on planning; provides statistical consultation to project staff and collaborators. Removes problem-solving barriers to analyses with other methodologists and statisticians. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. Department Specific Functions This position will collaborate in the lab of Research Professor, Michele Ceccarelli, who will join University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Department of Public Health Sciences, and the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center in Spring 2023. His main research project concentrates in the development of a system genetic approach to characterize the immune landscape of glioma at single cell resolution. The Ceccarelli lab develop novel computational methods to identify the main drivers of cancer progression and drug resistance through the analysis and dissection of molecular network. Core Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field required, Master's or Ph.D. preferred 4 or more years of relevant work experience required

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with statistical software packages (vSAS, SPSS and R) Experience in data management and organization of data. Ability to manipulate and analyze large and complex data files Excellent organizational and intrapersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively and in a deadline driven environment Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
