IP Specialist Textron Specialized Vehicles - 3.4 Augusta, GA Job Details Full-time 21 hours ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering Full Job Description IP Specialist Description Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.
Responsibilities:
Perform patent searches and investigate competitor technology. Conduct patent clearance investigations and maintain patent marking websites. Develop knowledge of business unit patent and trademark portfolios and competitor intellectual property. Implement Textron intellectual property processes. Develop strategy to grow patent portfolio in coordination with company personnel and outside counsel. Review competitor patents and classify them. Review work performed by outside counsel. Interact with inventors and coordinate invention disclosures. Review and draft license agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other contracts. Provide support for intellectual property litigation.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering required
Years of Experience:
2 or more years of experience in related field required
Software Knowledge:
Anaqua and IP Rally experience strongly preferred; Microsoft suite experience required. Admitted to practice before
