In this Scientific Research & Development role, you will design and oversee studies focused on complex medical needs, ensuring regulatory and ethical compliance. Responsibilities include protocol development, data analysis, report authorship, and collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams. Responsibilities Provide scientific and clinical leadership for in-home healthcare initiatives serving former energy workers and their families Design, implement, and oversee clinical protocols, quality-improvement projects, and outcomes-focused studies Ensure full compliance with ethical standards, Good Clinical Practice, and all applicable regulatory and payer requirements Supervise and monitor clinical aspects of projects, including patient safety, adverse event review, and data integrity Collaborate with nurses, case managers, and allied health professionals to ensure consistent, patient-centered protocol implementation Review and interpret clinical data and outcomes, translating findings into evidence-based recommendations for practice improvement Support the informed consent process and maintain high standards of documentation and record-keeping Provide clinical consultation for complex cases and serve as a subject-matter expert on the needs of former energy workers Educate and mentor clinical staff on evidence-based practice, new guidelines, and protocol updates Present findings and recommendations to organizational leadership and external stakeholders, contributing to strategic planning and service development Required Skills Clinical research design Protocol development Regulatory compliance (FDA, IRB, GCP) Data analysis and interpretation Clinical project management Risk management and quality assurance Budgeting and resource allocation Electronic health record (EHR) use Clinical documentation Patient assessment and monitoring Informed consent process Stakeholder communication Scientific writing and publication Leadership and team development Presentation of scientific findings
