PET radiochemistry 4. organic chemistry About the Role We are seeking a Scientist II with expertise in chemistry and a strong understanding of HPLC and LC/MS. Experience in PET radiochemistry is preferred. This contractor role will support PET tracer metabolite analysis and routine radiotracer production activities. Key Responsibilities Support the setup and optimization of HPLC systems for metabolite analysis of PET tracers. Perform the daily operation of HPLC systems used for metabolite analysis. Conduct routine PET radiotracer production activities. Independently establish HPLC methods and ensure that systems are robust, reliable, and properly maintained. Document experimental procedures, results, and laboratory activities in accordance with applicable standards. Follow all relevant laboratory safety, quality, and compliance requirements. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline with at least five years of experience; or Master's degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline with at least three years of research experience Working knowledge of HPLC and LC/MS. Ability to work independently and maintain laboratory systems effectively. Preferred Qualifications Experience in PET radiochemistry. Experience with setting up, optimizing, and maintaining HPLC systems Experience with radiotracer production or analytical characterization of PET tracers.
