Job Description

Our Approach We do not play a "numbers game" at NorthBridge, hiring many, then weeding out employees in subsequent years through a programmed "up-or-out" approach. Instead, we provide qualified recent or prospective college graduates with the opportunity as an Analyst to gain valuable experience while they make a difference in the rapidly changing and critical energy sector, with an understanding that they likely will enter a graduate program after a few years at NorthBridge. We also seek to fill our Associate positions with promising graduate school students who have full-time professional experience and the potential to become partners at our firm. We do not require our new hires to have energy industry experience. Contact Information Resumes and cover letters should be sent to: Tara Capobianco Recruiting Coordinator The NorthBridge Group 30 Monument Square, Suite 105 Concord, MA 01742 No phone calls or emails, please. Analysts Analysts are responsible for performing and communicating the findings of a broad range of research and analyses - financial, economic, policy, and market - under the supervision of Associates and Partners. As Analysts gain more experience, they assume larger roles, in structuring analyses, developing presentations, and communicating with clients. Successful Analysts are promoted to Senior Analysts after 2-3 years, providing them with even greater responsibility for strategy formulation and the management of others. Exceptional Senior Analysts are considered for the Associate position approximately two years thereafter. The NorthBridge Analyst program provides valuable skills and experience, allows recent college graduates to develop informed perspectives on the rapidly changing energy space, and has historically provided the opportunity to attend the world's top graduate schools. Analyst candidates should be self-starting and highly motivated individuals with exceptional analytical and mathematical skills, and with strong communication skills. A demonstrated ability to work effectively, both as part of a team and individually, in an unstructured environment is required. Candidates should have strong computer skills and proficiency with spreadsheet applications. Undergraduate coursework in quantitative fields of study is highly preferred. The Analyst position is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
