Job Description
We are seeking a full-time postdoctoral fellow to join the Digital Health & Health Disparities Lab. The lab is housed in NIMHD's Division of Intramural Research. About the position The mission of the lab is to leverage digital technologies to alleviate adverse outcomes associated with modifiable lifestyle behaviors and medical conditions. We use mobile technologies to characterize, detect or diagnose, and intervene on behaviors and conditions that support the delivery of personalized treatments and interventions. The fellow will assist with study design and implementation, data analysis, and publication of study findings. The postdoctoral fellow will develop their own research questions related to digital health and health disparities. Fellows receive multidisciplinary training and mentorship at NIH. They also receive support in developing a K-series or similar grant proposal during their fellowship. They can also apply for internal funding mechanisms. They are encouraged to participate in grant writing courses and training. Postdoctoral fellows can participate in journal clubs, in-person speaker series, and webinar series. Travel funds will be available to travel to 2 conferences a year to present their research and network. Candidates must have expertise or an interest in developing expertise in health disparities and digital health.
