Job Description

Are you a recent science graduate looking to launch your career in pharmaceutical and bioanalytical research? Join Charles River Laboratories as a Research Analyst I and gain hands-on experience supporting drug development through cutting-edge bioanalytical testing. Our Bioanalytical Chemistry team plays a critical role in evaluating test compounds by performing quantitative analysis of drugs in biological samples for preclinical and clinical studies. You will work alongside experienced scientists using advanced analytical technologies, including LC-MS/MS, while developing valuable laboratory and data analysis skills in a regulated research environment. What You'll Do Perform and document laboratory procedures in compliance with study protocols, SOPs, and regulatory requirements. Support bioanalytical studies through sample preparation, analysis, and data review. Prepare laboratory solutions, label samples, and perform other routine laboratory support activities. Assist with method validation and routine sample analysis projects. Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and study-specific inventories. Operate laboratory instrumentation under guidance and training. Participate in process improvement initiatives and laboratory troubleshooting efforts. Assist with data analysis using validated laboratory software systems. Accurately document methods, procedures, observations, and results. Collaborate with team members and communicate study progress effectively. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline. No prior professional experience required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to learn and work within regulated laboratory systems and procedures. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills. Experience with
LC-MS/MS
is a plus, but not required. Work Environment & Requirements Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, overtime, or extended shifts as business needs require. Ability to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, laboratory coat, respirators, and other protective gear as needed. Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
Pay:
From $23.50 per hour
