Job Description

Performs various support functions for health services and artificial intelligence research projects using proper procedures to maintain confidentiality, data quality, and accurate documentation. Assists with literature searches, data organization, data entry, qualitative coding or annotation, spreadsheet/database maintenance, preparation of study materials, and project tracking. May assist with participant, clinician and patient outreach, consent-related study procedures, survey administration, interview scheduling, and qualitative interview support, as appropriate and under supervision. May assist with reviewing clinical communication data, organizing research outputs, supporting manuscript or presentation preparation, and conducting quality checks. Works under direct supervision. Attention to detail is essential while dealing with multiple tasks. Flexibility is important in adjusting to frequent changes in work volume. Requires a high school diploma or GED. Coursework in health sciences, public health, psychology, social sciences, data science, biomedical informatics, communication, or related fields is preferred. Must have previous work experience that demonstrates organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and good communication skills. Must be able to prioritize and adjust to changes in work volume. Experience with Excel software is preferred. Experience with REDCap, literature reviews, qualitative coding, data annotation, medical terminology, research documentation, survey administration, participant recruitment, consent procedures, interviewing, or AI/NLP-related workflows is helpful but not required.
