Job Description
The Department of Chemistry, Physics, and Atmospheric Sciences is accepting applications for its Graduate/Undergraduate Programs Associate Director position. Manage graduate students and oversee their academic programs. Develop and implement workshops for graduate students. Lead recruitment efforts for the department. Coordinate assessment plans and reports for both graduate and undergraduate students. Prepare and submit annual reports, such ask ACS (American Chemical Society) report. Advise graduate and undergraduate students in the department. Assist with the organization and management of the departmental teaching schedule. Coordinate student internships. Manage databases, including tracking graduate exit exams, and senior research projects. Oversee graduate clearance for both undergraduate and graduate students. Assist with managing departmental inventory lists and locations. Masters or Higher in Science or Related Field Experience working with students in the roles such as advising, program direction, or student success coordination, with a focus on both graduate and undergraduate levels. Strong leadership in management experience, along with excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal abilities, and essential.
