UNC CFAR

Advanced Technology Laboratory Core oversees a large biorepository of specimens available for research purposes. The candidate for this temporary position will assist the Core in organizing laboratory reagents, supplies and specimen. Specimens should be considered infectious; adequate training will be provided. Work will require quality control tasks and entry into a data management system. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. Management Preferences Basic understanding of biological a processes Basic knowledge of a laboratory environment Good word processing skills Special Physical/Mental Requirements Organizational tasks may require occasional moving of up to 20 lbs. with or without accommodation.
