Position Summary:
  • Provide technical support for makeup projects for claims validation and communication purposes. This includes creating testing plans, negotiating claims with marketing and the claims/legal groups. Tracks all projects and ensures that all tests are completed on schedule and provides marketing with updates accordingly.
  • Explain technical information and technologies, providing insights into ingredients and tests on LOreal and competitive products
  • Create product technical dossiers to support proposals and launches of new products including formula, packaging, demos and claims information
  • Work closely with U.S. Safety, Claims and Evaluation Intelligence to determine sampling required to support testing while coordinating with labs to receive samples in a timely fashion.
  • Review concepts and marketing artwork for technical accuracy and provide alternative language and technical advisement
  • Analyze test results, providing technical support and interpretation of findings for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Project Management & Organization Skills:
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects concurrently, and effectively navigate a matrix organization. To succeed in this position, you have: Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science is required. Makeup or any marketing experience a plus.
