Job Description

Receive and Process Specimens:
Accurately label, register, and prepare specimens for testing.
Support Lab Workflow:
Perform daily tasks to ensure smooth and timely specimen handling. Assist in
Training:
Orient new Team Members by demonstrating standard procedures.
Maintain Safety Standards:
Follow PPE protocols and ensure a clean, hazard-free workspace.
Monitor Equipment and Logs:
Complete temperature checks, clean equipment, record data as assigned.
Use Laboratory Systems:
Enter orders, track specimens, retrieve information using lab software. Communicate with
Team:
Relay concerns, clarify orders, collaborate with Team Members and Clinicians.
Follow Compliance Guidelines:
Adhere to all SOPs and regulatory standards.
Follows research protocols:
Adhere to all research protocols and reads and has a thorough understanding of research laboratory manuals from sponsors.
Maintain Supplies and Workspace:
Restock materials, maintain organized workspace.
Organized:
Maintains a structured approach to tasks and keeps workspaces orderly.
Detail-oriented:
Ensures accuracy and consistency in daily responsibilities.
Effective communicator:
Communicates clearly and professionally with team members and other departments.
Problem-solver:
Identifies issues and takes appropriate steps to resolve them.
Compliance-minded:
Understands and adheres to relevant policies and procedures.

Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience:
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
