Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a part-time Research Associate for the Education and Employment Research Center (EERC) in the School of Management and Labor Relations (SMLR). The selected candidate will work with the research project managers and will contribute directly to qualitative and quantitative research activities related to education and workforce development. The candidate should have the ability to conduct assigned research related activities independently, while receiving guidance on project priorities and deliverables. Among the key duties of the position are the following: Assist with scheduling and coordinating interviews. Conduct interviews under the guidance of senior researchers. Review interview transcriptions and ensure data quality. Support the development of codebooks. Conduct qualitative analysis using NVivo, under the guidance and direction of EERC senior project teams. Provide research teams with necessary research project datasets. Provide support to EERC research project managers by conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses using research tools including Excel, NVivo, Qualtrics, and STATA. Revise state policy scan briefs related to noncredit workforce education. Assist with developing and drafting project deliverables, including blogs, briefs, reports and presentations. Present research findings to internal project teams. Attend and contribute to internal research team meetings, strategic planning, and project development discussions.

Position Status:
