$145,000 a year Description The Department of Economics will have an opening for one or more Postdoctoral Research Associates anticipated to start September 2027. Primary criteria are the quality of the applicant's research and interest/experience in Public Economics. These positions provide an outstanding opportunity for independent research as well as opportunities for collaboration with Princeton faculty and graduate students. Postdoctoral Research Associates may participate in the teaching program if mutually agreed, with sufficient course enrollments, and with the approval of the Office of the Dean of the Faculty. Postdoctoral Research Associates are expected to participate actively in the intellectual activities of Princeton University. Positions at the postdoctoral rank are for one academic year with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding. Proof of Ph.D. completion is required. These positions are not eligible for sponsorship of an H-1B visa requiring consular processing; other visa sponsorships (including H-1B visas not requiring consular processing) may be available, as appropriate. These positions are subject to the University's background check policy. The work location for these positions are in-person on campus at Princeton University. Qualifications Applicants must have (or expect to have by the start of the appointment) a PhD in Economics.
