Somerville, New Jersey job type: Contract salary: $25.00 - 27.66 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Independently conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate and characterize biologic and synthetic implantable materials. Utilize advanced instrumentation such as DSC, SEM, and Instron for mechanical and biomaterial testing. Document, analyze, and interpret experimental data with accuracy and strong attention to detail. Collaborate closely with senior scientists and cross-functional teams to modify experimental studies as needed. Maintain thorough project documentation and present summarized research findings to project leads.
qualifications:
Required:
BS in Material Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline. 1+ years of hands-on laboratory experience (academic lab experience for recent graduates or industry experience). Familiarity with biomaterial characterization techniques and testing instruments (e.g., DSC, SEM, Instron). Proven ability to learn new technical concepts and scientific skills quickly. Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in MS Office. #LI-MH1 skills: Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
