The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Program Evaluation Associate, Research Department, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine- PART-TIME-Letter of Appointment (LOA). ROLE of the
POSITION
This is a Letter of Appointment (LOA) position working 39 hours per week. As a grant-funded, full-time, letter of appointment (LOA) position, the Program Evaluation Associate will support the design, implementation, and analysis of program evaluation surveys. This role involves collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, and working closely with program teams to assess program effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement data collection tools (surveys, interviews, focus groups). Manage and analyze program data using statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Excel). Assist in creating evaluation frameworks and monitoring program progress. Assist in writing scientific reports, such as abstracts, manuscripts, and conference proceedings. Prepare clear, actionable reports and present findings to stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams to integrate evaluation results into program planning. Ensure data quality and adherence to ethical standard.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Education, Social Sciences, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred). 1-3 years of experience in program evaluation or data analysis. Proficiency in data analysis software (Excel, SPSS, R). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
