About UBMD Pediatrics UBMD Pediatrics is one of 18 practice plans within UBMD Physicians' Group, the single largest medical group in Western New York. We provide premier health care to infants, children, adolescents and adults. In addition to primary care pediatrics, we have 18 pediatric subspecialties. Our physicians make up the academic teaching faculty within the Department of Pediatrics at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Buffalo and at Oishei Children's Hospital. The Division of Endocrinology/Diabetes provides comprehensive care to infants, children and young adults affected by diabetes or hormonal (endocrine) disorders. Key Responsibilities Primary responsibilities are recruitment and protocol implementation of investigator initiated and commercially sponsored research studies and trials. In addition, must assist other research personnel in other ongoing studies with reporting to the lead research coordinator. Must be empathetic, self-motivated, and organized. The diabetes-endocrinology research team works closely with the clinical staff in the division of pediatric endocrinology and collaboration is a key asset of our team members. The position requires flexibility and strong interpersonal skills. Potential for future growth exists. Data collection, data entry, screening, consenting, scheduling, and assessment of research participants Experience working with families and children highly desirable Excellent communication skills and multitasking a must Will work under the supervision of the project coordinator, but must have skills to be able to work independently Computer literate with Windows environment including the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) Qualifications A minimum of 1 year experience in clinical research. Computer literate and have familiarity with Microsoft Office suite. Must be reliable & dependable, have great communication skills and be able to work in tandem with project coordinators.
Education:
BA/BS in Psychology, Exercise Science, Nutrition or Health Related field
