Ice Miller is seeking a summer associate who is interested in patent prosecution and intellectual property litigation to join our Intellectual Property team in Philadelphia or New York. Candidates must have a technical degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or life sciences, including biology, microbiology, or chemistry. Ice Miller's 10-week summer associate program includes: Exposure to our Intellectual Property practice group as well as opportunities to learn about the firm's other practice groups, Opportunities to develop direct working relationships with our attorneys and patent agents to enhance your research, writing, and presentation skills, Guidance, mentoring, and regular feedback, In-depth training focused on professional and substantive legal skills, Opportunities for client contact, Social events and team building activities, And competitive compensation. In addition to excellent academic credentials and technical background outlined above, we seek IP summer associates who: Are eligible to take the Patent Bar, Have an interest in litigation, Possess strong writing and analytical ability, Excel in a team environment, Demonstrate leadership skills, Have prior work experience, including legal, military, or service industry experience, Are curious, motivated, and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic work environments, Manage their time and their projects diligently, And have prior experiences that prepare them to work with attorneys/agents, staff, and clients from cultures and backgrounds different from their own.

Have permanent authorization to work in the United States, And have obtained an undergraduate degree and are enrolled in the JD class of 2028 at an accredited law school.
