Job Summary:
The Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking a personable, self-motivated and organized part-time Clinical Research Assistant. This role will assist in the execution of clinical studies in accordance with approved protocols, which heavily involves interacting with patients, families and clinical staff.
Duties will include:
Identify, screen, and consent patients in accordance with study protocols. Administer surveys and follow-up with study participants. Adhere to IRB approved protocols, comply with institutional policies, SOP guidelines and federal, state, and sponsor policies. Collect/transport samples from patients as indicated by the research protocol. Collect required data, code and enter into clinical research forms or computerized databases. Maintain accurate and timely research records while upholding patient confidentiality according to the principles of GCP guidelines and regulatory compliance. Perform other administrative and research duties as assigned. This position offers valuable clinical research experience in preparation for those seeking health care related careers.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires High school diploma or
GED Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a scientific or health care field, experience in a healthcare setting, either clinical or research preferred
Work Days:
Shifts will be scheduled during the hours of 4pm-12am weekdays and 10am-12am weekends. Message to
