Job Description

As a Research Analyst I - Bioanalytical Chemistry, you will play a key role in supporting laboratory operations by processing samples, performing laboratory testing, analyzing data, and documenting results with accuracy and integrity. This position is ideal for candidates with a scientific background who enjoy hands-on laboratory work, problem-solving, and contributing to high-quality research in a regulated environment. What You'll Do Process and analyze biological samples using established laboratory methods and procedures. Accurately collect, analyze, and report scientific data. Document laboratory activities in compliance with GLP, SOP, protocol, and regulatory requirements. Prepare laboratory reagents, solutions, and study materials. Maintain study inventories and laboratory consumables. Conduct routine laboratory studies independently and support method validation activities. Operate laboratory instruments and equipment with minimal supervision. Troubleshoot assay and laboratory issues while supporting quality investigations. Review, analyze, and interpret laboratory data using scientific software tools. Document deviations and assist with corrective actions as needed. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and quality. Assist with training new team members on laboratory procedures and best practices. Collaborate effectively with scientists, laboratory personnel, and cross-functional teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline. Minimum of 1 year of laboratory, research, or related scientific experience. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication abilities. Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Understanding of laboratory documentation practices and regulated environments. Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand or sit for extended periods while performing laboratory procedures. Strong manual dexterity and fine motor skills for handling laboratory equipment and samples. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to accurately observe, document, and communicate information. Work Environment Laboratory and office setting with moderate to high noise levels depending on activities. Regular use of PPE, including gloves, goggles, face shields, and protective clothing. Exposure to chemicals, biological materials, and laboratory equipment. Occasional exposure to laboratory animals, allergens, and biohazardous materials. May encounter fumes, airborne particles, and varying temperature conditions.
Pay:
From $24.00 per hour
