All job offers are contingent upon Human Resources final approval This recruitment will be used to fill multiple part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Undergraduate Research Assistant (URA) positions for the School of Nuclear Science & Engineering (NSE) at Oregon State University (OSU). This position performs a variety of duties including routine to complex technical or specialized tasks in support of research, clinical or administrative work. Positions may include laboratory research and data collection. Position Duties Perform laboratory experiments, tests, or simulations under supervision. Set up, calibrate, and maintain research equipment; monitor supply inventory and assist with ordering materials as needed. Accurately document experimental results, observations, and measurements in lab notebooks or electronic databases; maintain organized records for reproducibility. Use software tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, Excel) to analyze collected data, generate graphs/charts, and summarize findings for review by senior researchers. Follow all safety guidelines and institutional compliance standards; participate in safety training as required.
